The Heucheras have tiny little flowers that last for ages. Their upright stiffness contrasts with the more curvy iris

Rather than the favourite view of Wastwater I wanted to concentrate on the colours and textures of the Screes. The lake, the deepest in England, was reflecting the blue of the sky on a summers day
